About Charlie:
For three decades, Charlie served at top firms Shearson Lehman, New York Life and Merrill Lynch, culminating in a role as a Senior Investment Officer at Smith Barney. In 2003, Charlie launched CJM Wealth Management, where he focused on a wide range of issues, from tax and estate planning to life insurance and the use of trusts. While Charlie works with various high-net-worth families, he also has a strong concentration on serving the unique financial needs of affluent physicians, business owners, and families impacted by autism. In 2020 Charlie and the CJM team joined forces with Wealth Enhancement Group.
Charlie is the proud father of triplets, two boys and a girl. His two boys are on the autism spectrum. With autism close to his heart, he created and is the founder of a not-for-profit organization, Autism Communities. His organization helps provide homes to facilitate an independent, safe, and inclusive living environment for adults with autism. In 2017 Charlie was appointed by Governor Cuomo (NY) to the Autism Spectrum Disorders Advisory Board, where he provides guidance to individuals with autism spectrum disorder, and families seeking reliable information regarding available services and support.
About Peter:
Peter began his career in 1998 as an advisor at a boutique Park Avenue investment firm. Three years later, he moved on to Smith Barney before becoming an independent advisor in 2004. He joined CJM Wealth Management in 2006 as Managing Director and Partner, where he was a major contributor to the firm’s growth and development. Peter specializes in wealth management, asset protection and tax minimization strategies for ultra-affluent families and closely-held businesses pre- and post-liquidity. He is widely recognized for his expertise in subjects such as asset protection, risk management and business succession planning. Peter lives in Queens, NY, with his wife and two children. An avid soccer fan, he enjoys playing competitive sports and travelling.
